47 today – Happy Birthday Optikinetics

It’s been an incredible business journey for Optikinetics who celebrates its 47 year birthday today.

Neil Rice, one of the founders of Optikinetics, kindly joined some members of our team today and brought some celebratory buns to mark the annual occasion.

47 years as pioneers of specialist effect lighting

Optikinetics was formed in London, England in 1970 by a group of creative lighting effect engineers. The company continues to be a leading innovator of specialist lighting projection effect and continue to manufacture iconic products. Some of these products include the liquid ‘lava type’ wheel and the Solar and Gobo range of projectors. Famous projects include light shows for Pink Floyd, The Who and Cream. Optikinetics products allow users to create effects that are suitable for multiple corporate, healthcare and entertainment applications.
